Mexico – 2023
In 2023, members of Mission ETSplore took part in an international mission to Mexico, visiting the cities of Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico City, and Guadalajara. This destination was selected for the dynamism of its technological ecosystem, the growth of its industrial sectors, and the increasing role of innovation in the country’s development. Centered on the theme of the engineering of tomorrow in its human and technological dimensions, the mission aimed to provide students with an immersive experience into the realities of engineering in an international context.
Throughout the mission, participants had the opportunity to meet engineers and experts from various engineering disciplines, engage in discussions on current industry challenges, and visit companies and universities recognized for their innovative projects and technological approaches. This experience offered valuable insight into the role of engineers on a global scale, highlighting the importance of innovation, collaboration, and the human dimension behind technological advancement.

Members of the 2023 Mexico Edition
The 2023 edition team represented Mission ÉTSplore in Mexico with professionalism, curiosity, and ambition. A memorable experience that contributed to their personal and professional development.
Michaël Sarrazin
Administrator Role
As an OIQ member and co-leader of the 2023 Mexico edition, Michaël brought four years of experience in telecommunications network engineering to the co-leadership of this new edition of the LÉTS GO Technology Missions.
As part of the Mexico edition, Michaël aimed to apply his project and team management skills to expand L’ÉTS’s professional network in Mexico. He also took the opportunity to identify challenges and issues related to operational technologies.
Nicolas Carrier
Administrator Role
As the second co-leader of the 2023 edition, Nicolas brought his people-management skills and positive energy to help lead the 10th edition of the LÉTS GO Technology Missions alongside Michaël.
Tasseda Boukherroub
Administrator Role
As a professor of industrial engineering in the Department of Systems Engineering, Tasseda oversaw the 2023 edition to help ensure the success of the Mexico mission. Holding a PhD in Industrial Engineering from INSA Lyon, a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Lorraine, and an Industrial Engineering degree from the École Polytechnique d’Alger, Tasseda brought extensive knowledge of the challenges and issues addressed by the mission.
As a member of several research groups and networks, including CIRRELT, FORAC, NUMÉRIX, CIRODD, CERIEC, Santé ÉTS, and Réseau INNOVATION 4.0, Tasseda brought a strong sense of rigor and energy to the team.
Isabelle Fortier
Administrator Role
As a member of the International Relations Office (SRI), Isabelle brought her strong organizational skills and attention to detail to work alongside Tasseda as a representative and spokesperson for the LÉTS GO Technology Missions.
Communications Committee
Responsible for promoting Mission ÉTSplore and enhancing its visibility, the Communications Committee manages the project’s social media presence, creates engaging content, and promotes the initiative among the student community, partners, and the general public.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee oversees the financial management of Mission ÉTSplore by managing the budget, monitoring expenses, and planning the project’s finances to ensure its successful execution.

Project Management Committee
The Project Management Committee oversees the overall coordination of Mission ÉTSplore by fostering collaboration between committees, monitoring timelines, and tracking the progress of the project’s various stages.
