France – 2020
In 2020, the Mission ÉTSplore team faced an unprecedented challenge when the COVID-19 pandemic made international travel to France impossible. Despite having to adapt their plans, the team demonstrated remarkable resilience, creativity, and dedication. From fundraising and promotional initiatives to event organization and community engagement, the members continued to advance the mission’s objectives and proudly represent ÉTS on an international scale from Canada.
Although they could not experience the planned international immersion firsthand, their efforts ensured the continuity and visibility of the project during a particularly challenging period. Their perseverance and commitment helped preserve the spirit of ÉTSplore and laid the groundwork for future editions.
In 2022, the next generation of Mission ÉTSplore members took up the torch, once again setting their sights on France and carrying forward the ambition of international exploration, professional development, and knowledge sharing.
We proudly recognize the 2020 team for their resilience and contribution to the continued growth of Mission ÉTSplore.
International Engineering Immersion
Since 2012, ÉTSplore (formerly “Les Missions Technologiques LÉTSGO”) has given more than 108 undergraduate and graduate engineering students at École de technologie supérieure the opportunity to experience an annual cultural and technological immersion abroad.
The selected students stand out for their interest in engineering from an international perspective, as well as in the role and responsibilities of engineers within society.
