France – 2022

Originally planned for 2020, the mission to France had to be postponed to 2022 due to the exceptional global health conditions experienced at the time. It is with great enthusiasm that the Mission ÉTSplore was finally able to take place. The choice of France as a destination aligns fully with our mission to provide students with an international immersive experience focused on the analysis of major technological and societal challenges. Through the themes of Industry 4.0 and sustainable development, the mission aimed to explore the role of digital technologies and telecommunications in corporate digital transformation projects, while highlighting sustainable development initiatives implemented by companies to reduce their environmental footprint and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. These objectives are fundamental principles of energy transition projects. These themes were explored through visits and meetings in several key cities, including Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Toulouse, Palaiseau, and Évry.

Berger-Levrault

Lors de notre première matinée à Toulouse, nous avons été reçus par Berger-Levrault à Labège. Cette visite fut le fruit de multiples échanges sur l’espace de deux ans en raison de la crise sanitaire. Lors de ces deux années d’échange s’est aussi créé un lien afin d’accueillir deux étudiants, membre des missions technologiques, pour faire un stage. Pour cette édition, ce fut la première entreprise que l’on a voulu visiter. Cette entreprise a donné lieu à un grand intérêt de l’équipe par sa richesse en histoire, culture et innovation. International Engineering Immersion

Since 2012, ÉTSplore (formerly “Les Missions Technologiques LÉTSGO”) has given more than 108 undergraduate and graduate engineering students at École de technologie supérieure the opportunity to experience an annual cultural and technological immersion abroad.

The selected students stand out for their interest in engineering from an international perspective, as well as in the role and responsibilities of engineers within society.
