International engineering experience

Since 2012, ÉTSplore (formerly “Les Missions Technologiques LÉTSGO”) has allowed more than 108 undergraduate and graduate engineering students from the École de technologie supérieure to experience an annual cultural and technological immersion abroad.

The selected students stand out for their interest in engineering on an international scale, as well as for their understanding of the role and responsibilities of engineers in society.

Construction Engineering / Project Management

Those who know Chiara can attest to her unwavering passion for traveling abroad. Since a young age, she has had the opportunity to explore numerous countries, which has allowed her to develop a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, traditions, and languages, as well as a broad open-mindedness. Her journey also led her to study at the “Politecnico di Milano” in Italy for six months, an experience that pushed her out of her comfort zone but turned out to be exceptionally enriching.
Did you know that Chiara has already participated in the ÉTSplore mission (formerly called “LÉTS GO Technological Missions”)? Indeed, she was selected for the France 2022 edition. Her first experience in this mission gives her a distinct advantage, and she will be able to provide considerable support to the new team as a mentor.

With a natural curiosity, Chiara has always been fascinated by the construction of civil engineering works. This passion led her to pursue a technical diploma in civil engineering at CEGEP, and later, she chose to continue her university studies in construction engineering, which she will complete in April 2024. Driven by a strong spirit of cooperation, Chiara has been involved in many volunteer activities throughout her academic journey, including mentoring other students. Additionally, she expresses her creativity by having been a singer in the student club “MusiquÉTS” and a dancer in the “ÉTS Dance” club.

By participating in the ÉTSplore trip to the United Kingdom, Chiara aims to deepen her knowledge in her field of study while building professional connections that will be valuable for her future career.
